Temperature and humidity are two of the most common physical quantities in people's lives. The weather forecast we see every day mentions temperature and humidity, which are closely linked to our daily lives. The birth of the temperature and humidity sensor is also to capture and display these two physical parameters at any time. The temperature and humidity sensor can convert the amount of temperature and humidity into an electrical signal for output, and can directly display the temperature and humidity on the display screen for users to view. Of course, temperature is a familiar physical quantity for us, and humidity will be unfamiliar to everyone. So Xiaobian here focuses on popularizing the definition of "humidity" in temperature and humidity sensors to solve the confusion in your mind.

The basic forms of humidity are:

1. Humidity: Humidity refers to the amount of water vapor in a unit volume of air, and the unit is grams per cubic meter. The reason why it is called humidity is because its content has a direct relationship with temperature. Its content is proportional to the temperature. As the humidity increases, the temperature has less and less influence on it.

2. Relative humidity: Relative humidity refers to the ratio of the amount of water vapor present in the air to the water vapor content when the water vapor in the air reaches a saturated state at the same temperature, which is expressed by the symbol% RH.

3. Ludian: Also called "Ludian temperature", it refers to the temperature at which water vapor in the air condenses into liquid water under the condition that the atmospheric pressure is fixed. The reason why it is called Ludian is that when the temperature reaches this temperature, most of the water adheres to the air and becomes dew; if the temperature continues to drop, the water vapor changes into water droplets. Wind and temperature are important factors affecting Ludian.

4. Saturated humidity: Saturated humidity refers to the value of water vapor that can be contained in 1 cubic meter of air at a fixed temperature. When the water vapor exceeds this value, the excess water vapor will condense into water droplets, so the humidity value at this critical point is called the saturated humidity value. The saturation humidity will change according to the temperature.

Humidity is closely related to life, and also closely related to temperature. When measuring humidity, we need to perform it according to the size of the temperature. When selecting a temperature and humidity sensor , we must also decide according to the measurement environment.
